Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) is a rare gastrointestinal condition defined by the body’s inability to absorb essential nutrients and fluids. Most commonly resulting from extensive intestinal resection, SBS places a significant burden on patients and caregivers alike. Increasing awareness is key to earlier intervention and better outcomes.
