"Iron" Man

This kinetic machine was designed to convey how iron overload can happen in the body. It shows how iron is carried within the blood, all throughout the body, and how it can manifests in liver and heart if not monitored properly.

Each blood transfusion is represented by a red ball. Every 10 red balls that go through the system, a silver one will follow and lodge itself within the heart or liver—representing the iron. 

In a digital heavy convention floor, this “analog” attraction manage to sets itself apart and gather crowd for the Novartis booth.
